Hoi An Ancient Town is an ancient town located in the lower Thu Bon River, in the coastal plain of Quang Nam province, about 30km far from the south of Danang city.

Hoi An Ancient Town is encapsulated in Minh An ward with an area of only about 2 km² with a very special terrain in the style of a chessboard that is characterized by short and narrow roads, running winding, horizontal and vertical, causing people to meet each other in any way. 
Hoi An Ancient Town, the city's historic district, is recognized as an exceptionally well-preserved example of a Southeast Asian trading port dating from the 15th to the 19th century, its buildings and street plan reflecting a blend of indigenous and foreign influences.

When should you travel to Hoi An?

February to April: Around this time, the weather in Hoi An is especially cool and pleasant. How to get to Hoi An?

By planes:

Hoi An is located in Quang Nam but the nearest airport is in Danang (Hoi An is 30km from Danang). Currently, airlines such as Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar, Vietjetair all operate routes from Hanoi to Da Nang. If you want to buy cheap tickets, you should book about 3 to 6 months in advance.

By train:

• From Hanoi, there are train routes to Da Nang (North-South route), fares range from VND 400,000 to VND 1,200,000 depending on the train type and seat type. It takes about 14 hours to travel from Hanoi to Danang by train. Going from Hanoi, you can also choose a stop at Tam Ky station (Quang Nam), then take the car to Hoi An.

By bus:

• you can book a bus ticket from Hanoi to Hoi An with us, we will pick you up at your hotel. Depart everyday at 18h30 take about 15 - 17 hours by sleeper bus

From Danang to Hoi An:

• The most convenient means of transport from Danang to Hoi An are motorbikes and buses. You can rent a motorbike in Da Nang for 120.000 VND / day or rent a private car.

•  By Bus: About 20 minutes, there is a bus route to Hoi An departing from Danang bus station. The latest route is at 17h50 every day, the ticket price is 20.000 VND / person.

Where to stay in Hoi An?
